As I am now a finalist, I have the chance to study two modules of my choice. I chose to learn about Public International Law and Competition Law. Public International Law is great - it is all about the interplay between law and international politics
One tip I wish I had been told before my Oxford interview is that the tutors care more about the way you think than any substantial knowledge you have. As long as you can form an argument, process any rebuttals to your position and challenge opposing arguments, you'll be one of the stronger candidates. Ultimately, these tutors will be your tutors on the course. They want to see that you would be interesting to teach. Don't be afraid to say that you don't know something, but be ready to make an educated guess and to explain your reasoning.
Outside of my studies, I am a keen swimmer. I run the college swimming club which trains three times a week. I also love Ancient History. I believe that the classical era has been the most influential period in history and that fascinating figures of that time have helped shape the modern world.
